My name is Yao Sun, founder of Turtle Volleyball Club.

Turtle Volleyball Club was created with a simple goal: to provide my two sons Daniel and Samuel with the opportunity to learn volleyball at an affordable cost—without sacrificing quality. As the club began to grow, that goal evolved into a broader mission: to make volleyball accessible to every young athlete, regardless of height, background, financial situation, or prior experience.

We believe that volleyball is more than just a sport. It builds confidence, discipline, teamwork, and resilience. Every child—no matter how shy, inexperienced, or different—deserves the chance to enjoy the game, develop skills, and grow through sport in a supportive environment.

The name Turtle Volleyball Club holds special meaning. My older son, Daniel Sun, has always admired turtles for their perseverance, determination, and steady progress. In honor of his dedication to sports and his love for the turtle, the club proudly carries this name as a symbol of growth, patience, and long-term success.
